The main challenge: How do we depict that through the brand’s visual identity and packaging?

A handdrawn logo was crafted in the image of a monstera leaf to give meaning to the natural look of the brand. The intent was to not have a very clean and corporate looking logo and instead look more ‘rough’ and hand-crafted.

The Philosophy

At its core, Botanica Cosmetics believes that beauty should never come at the expense of our environment or the well-being of animals. Their products are crafted from ethically sourced, sustainable botanicals, ensuring that each formula is rich in natural goodness and free from harmful chemicals.

The monstera leaf is a major design element of the brand and serves to represent the very essence of Botanica Cosmetics. While the red circles give a bit of contrast that really makes the product photos ‘pop’.

Sustainability

Botanica is deeply committed to sustainability and strive to minimize their environmental footprint. Their packaging is pointedly made with recycled paper, and they continuously seek out ways to reduce waste and promote eco-friendly practices.

To showcase the brand's true impact, eye-catching posters and engaging social media posts were created, highlighting Botanica’s commitment to cruelty-free, natural beauty.
